I liked the whole layout of the place, and all the beautiful gardens made it feel like a tropical jungle on the beach

It was far enough away from the other stations that we felt like the beach was ours. We stayed in shoulder season so the weather was good and the crowds were low yet the service was still excellent and all our needs were catered for, the staff made us feel incredibly welcomed and looked after. We easily spent some of our entire days at the resort and didn’t go anywhere as the venue had everything we needed. The evening entertainment was excellent and high quality, the resort had a lovely open feel and the restaurants were great too. The in-house Filipino and Italian menus were delicious as well as the cocktails and the free chocolate buffet each day.
The bed was a proper superking and didn’t have one of those uncomfortable zippers running underneath. Some days we were lazy enough to get room service breakfast which was equally delicious.
Some might not like it being so far from the other stations - for me it was perfect because it was like a very secret hideout. Only one other hotel shared the beach.
The one bad thing - THE COFFEE!!!! I don’t know how they got the coffee so wrong, and defaulting to putting cinnamon on each one made it worse. Although to be fair - the whole island had bad coffee so maybe it’s just not a speciality there.

Activities for kids
- Very expensive cost of transfer.
You can find easily round trip from airport to movenpick without hassle just for 1250php per person
- rooms with connecting door. Too much noise from neighbors.
