The accommodation is located right in the heart of Catania, which is a fantastic location, especially for visiting the local market just a step away. Its in the same street as you walk from the building you are in it :)
Although the market is right below the windows, the noise was not too disturbing, which was a pleasant surprise. The accommodation is in a typical Italian residential building, giving it an authentic local feel.
Breakfast consists of a croissant and a coffee, served at the betting shop just two doors down from the accommodation. It is a convenient way to start the day before exploring the city.
The central location makes it easy to discover Catania on foot and experience the atmosphere of everyday Sicilian life.
Bathroom could benefit from some updating (shower), but was surprised with space in the bathroom which had plenty of storage space for personal belongings.
There was also no iron available, which would have been useful.

Breakfast at nearby cafe was very good, would have been helpful knowing what voucher was good for before we went. As others have mentioned, rooms overlook a very busy market that starts setting up in the early hours so can be noisy. Location was excellent in terms of walking distance to attractions and was very convenient to bus stop.
Area was a bit seedy, and building was hard to find, but once inside interior was much better than exterior.
