Absolutely everything. The most stunning location. Breakfast was excellent. Staff were lovely. Casa Alice was stunning, restored to a high quality using traditional craftsmanship. Local wine and port were superb. The swimming pool and sauna were perfect. There were super sweet and friendly family cats. Amazingly fast internet.
This is not something we didn’t like it is an advisory… there are no shops or restaurants in the village so it is difficult to get food if you are on foot like we were. The nearest restaurant was over an hour’s walk away. However the reception has some basic supplies which did us well for a few days.
