Me and my partner had a lovely stay at hotel orchid pre and post trekking. Very comfortable and clean room with fantastic view. Mr Ramesh was a super manager and the rest of the staff were also very friendly and hard working.

The location is perfect. It is a short walk to the very busy lakeside area, up a street lined with cafés, shops and local businesses. The hotel and street have a wonderful energy that makes you feel both relaxed and welcome. The hotel is lovely - incredibly friendly staff who cant do enough for you! Breakfast is also delicious and there is a garden where you can relax with drinks anytime. The rooms are spacious and if you get a balcony on floor 4 upwards you will have the most amazing view of the mountains!! A really special hotel.
Only that the bin in the bathroom is not emptied everyday. But we asked and it was done straight away.
