We arrived at The Luib Hotel later than planned after a full day of sightseeing in the Highlands. The hotel is in a fantastic location, with beautiful views of the mountains and river, and it is very well placed for visiting major Highland attractions such as Glencoe and Kilchurn Castle, as well as for travelling along the main routes through the Highlands.
Although we stayed in October, when many places have limited opening hours and kitchens close early, the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. Even though the kitchen had already closed, they kindly reopened it to prepare dinner for me, my sister and my husband. They also offered us drinks and kept the stove lit so we could warm up and enjoy our meal in a cosy atmosphere.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome after a long day. We really appreciated their hospitality and would highly recommend The Luib Hotel for its location, views and wonderful service.

Incredibly friendly staff, beautiful property and building, and a restaurant in the hotel which we didn’t know about before hand, such a nice surprise! And right between Glen Coe and Glasgow, such a convenient stop on our trip

This hotel is "off the grid,", which was their reason for a shower that was just barely adequate. Everything was somewhat rundown. This was the cheapest place we stayed in Scotland and for one night it worked... not sure I'd go back.
So so on cleanliness, so so staff, so so bath... everything was average or less. Wouldn't recommend.
