The hostel is on the edge of the crater. Fabulous views from there, including from the window of my room.
There is a new beautiful section of the hostel I would try to book next time.
However, be warned that Booking.com, provided directions to an entirely different address a long way from the hostel, where I got off the bus with my suitcase. I couldn't find the hostel, so phoned the number Booking.com provided, which was also a wrong number. In the end, a kindly person, seeing me lost, drove me to the hostel, as it was getting late and therefore, being the desert, cold.
Although my ensuite room and most of the hostel was clean, the corridor on my (top) floor was dirty. I pointed out that something sticky had appeared to be spilt there, and that was eventually cleaned, but the rest was neglected, as well as the stairs leading up to my floor from the floor beneath. It was as if they didn't bother with it because perhaps there weren't enough people staying up on that floor. I would want to stay in the hostel again - as long as they ensure that all the common areas are seriously cleaned.
