Lovely hotel with great character and only a short walk from the town centre.

6 / 10Average·Oct 2026

Friendly and welcoming staff. Well located with an easy walk into town.

We stayed for three nights. During this time there were two weddings and quite a few other events, it felt like we were uninvited guests. We were given room 24 which is dark, cold and damp. The common areas are tired looking and the carpet is very dirty where suitcases have been wheeled through.
