The proximity to Manly Beach and shops was terrific. The room and bathroom was small and compact, but had everything you need and was nicely decorated in a simple way. They provided packets of earplugs on the bedside night stands
NOISY, NOISY, NOISY - ESPECIALLY DURING EVENTS.
I hated that you couldn't open any windows - they are fixed shut as well as being obscure glass. The rooms were very dark. The air conditioning was stale.
I was amused and concerned all at the same time when we found packets of earplugs provided on the bedside night stands. Saturday night was dreadfully noisy until about 3AM. They earplugs came in handy and worked surprisingly well, but I still couldn't sleep because they hurt my ears.
