There's a reason I keep coming back here to what some might dismiss as an "Autobahn Hotel": it combines many attributes American travellers enjoy: good security, 24-hour entry w/ card, full breakfast (& the nice lady remembers what you like), spacious rooms, dedicated staff.
Basic info: they have added electronic charging. The 24-hour petrol/gas station across the road is great for a quick beverage. The new owners have added some tourism offers.
NOT dislikes, just awarenesses
No A/C, so bring a fan & open the large windows ("kippen") for fresh air.
Some of the tradesmen will park inefficiently, so you can park the car next door or over @ the station.
