Nice room (No 1) and facilities. Good shower pressure. Breakfast was very nice with good quality ingredients.
We ate in the restaurant for dinner, very good and a large selection of Gluten Free choices. Maybe on the pricy side for a pub.
Plenty of free parking on site
Unfortunately we had a bad night sleep due to the extremely hard mattress. Understand that you can't always please everyone but we had never slept on such a firm mattress. Maybe a memory foam topper could be added.

The room was large and comfortable with a comfy bed but was tired and needed a refurbishment.
The dinner in the restaurant was nice.
It was disappointing coming from overseas when the room was not in the actual Hotel.
There was no close plug to the mirror to blow wave your hair and look in the mirror.
The hairdryer was all peeling.
The main door was catching.

Lovely stay at a hotel with lots of character. Good food for both dinner and breakfast.
It was difficult to shut the bathroom door. The water from the kettle tasted acidic until rinsed a number of times.

Location.
The building is old - beware of very low beams in ceiling but that said it adds to the character!
Service in restaurant is really slow and staff aren’t that friendly. We were there on a Sunday and despite very few guests they were ridiculously slow.
