The location is great. It’s close to the railway station and supermarket. And there is a kitchen. You could do simple meals.

A little noise at night. But it’s fine to me.

Amazing location! Across the road from the train station and a tram stop, but no noise inside the apartment with the windows shut. 10 min walk to the beach. It was extremely clean and tidy with everything we needed.

We LOVED this room! It is a one-room flat on an upper floor...with an elevator (a priority for us!). The room was neat and clean, but small - wasn't a problem for us. Nothing fancy, just an authentic studio apartment. Charming is how I would describe this place. Just easy and comfortable Good bathroom, well equipped. It seemed soundproof to the city noise below (but we love the city noise, so sometimes we opened the window and just looked out on the hustle and bustle of Nice. The flat had everything we needed, but we did go to a local market right across the street to pick up some extra things we wanted. We had some confusion getting in the front door, but it was our own fault, and the host came down and let us in and took us up to the flat. She was very helpful (thank you)! The location was not in the old-town area with all the sight-seeing, but it was in such a convenient position right across from the tram and the train station in the heart of the city. We are an older couple, so walking is not our forte. The tram (2 lines) was easy to learn and got us to more places than we could have managed on foot, straight shot down to the waterfront, up town to Libération, the Port, and beyond. Even got us into town from the airport (buy tickets online app before you arrive, then just jump on and validate. Don't buy at the airport ticket machines). Easy access to regional train for day trips to Monte Carlo and Tende. It was a lovely stay and we will return if we ever get back to Nice.

We enjoyed everything about this place, primarily the convenience and the elevator. But some people might think this apartment is small, older or in need of updating, but we found it just perfect! If we travel to an old town like Nice, we appreciate authentic living while we visit and this fit the bill for us.

It had air con, the host Rachel was very friendly and helpful with information on which metro and trains to get, the location was excellent.

Only thing to mention, the door to get into was hard to open with the key. It took a few attempts to open. Might be because I am not used to French door locks.
