Staff(Michelle) was very friendly and welcoming. The continental breakfast was adequate. The room although on the small side was pleasant and comfortable for our 3 night stay. Having a bar and lounge facilities for guests was lovely to relax in after a day of exploring.
The bathroom, although very modern and lovely, was fitted into a very narrow space, making it difficult to manoeuvre in. Also water tended to leak under the shower screen.

Central location, lots of car parking. Lounge areas were well lit, nice to sit and read. Lovely old building, nice features.
Room had poor lighting. Breakfast was a very basic offer, the fruit offering was a bowl of apples and some tinned peaches.
