The hotel is a comfortable drive from Solitaire en route to Sesriem. Sossusvlei is still about an hour's drive away. The staff is the best asset of this hotel. They are all professional, welcoming and so friendly. The dinners we had were delicious, with fresh salads and vegetables included as well as great meat. The rooms are fine, good mattresses and steaming hot shower. Tea and coffee and milk in the room- even rooibos, my favorite! Lots of tour groups spending the night.
I missed a stand to put the suitcases on. I didn't like leaving them on the floor and ended up putting them on the couch. The pool area is spectacular with bougainvillea blossoming in yellow and pink.

This place is truly an oasis. We arrived after a drive of several hours from Windhok and received a very warm welcome. The room was spacious, clean, and bright, with a strong, constant flow of hot water in the shower. The grounds are well-maintained and feature beautiful vegetation. The meals were simply excellent. we stayed for 3 nights, and every meal offered a different variety along with courteous service. At night, we could view the stars from the roof. The property offers various activity options. we drove ourselves to the Sesriem dunes—a 40-minute drive to the reserve's first entrance gate. We spent the afternoon by the beautiful pool, which overlooks the scenery, and watched the local animales. The sunrises and sunsets were stunning. Drink prices were reasonable, and the staff helped us out with a few small requests. Overall, it is a wonderful place—far exceeding expectations for such a rugged region.
The Wi-Fi in the room was weak.
