Lodge was clean and well equipped, nice and private ...not overlooked and just a short walk to the bar and restaurant.

The location was amazing.
Onsite restaurant and bar were excellent.
Maintenance tasks seemed to be overdue. Trees and bushes needed cut back at lodge.
Cleaning seemed to have been rushed as some parts were clean but others had been missed.
Blind in bedroom was stained and had been reported previously by another guest but this had not been actioned.
Lack of hanging space for clothes.

Absolutely everything was fantastic, it is one of the most calm peaceful places we have stayed. The hot tub was fantastic and when in it it was completely private. the walks are so pretty and peaceful you really feel you can unwind and relax. the beds were comfy and the place was well kept with good facilities like two bathrooms/ensuite, dining area.
the upstairs kitchen and living area meant lovely views all round. Opening the door and looking out to the calm lochs.
we never used the sauna and cold dip but it looked fantastic we also never used the restaurant or bar but it looked very nice and had events and wedding on.
Could be more thoroughly cleaned, it's a very big property so it takes a lot of time I guess.
Some of the facilities such as the cooker could be upgraded.
Extremely loud/squeaky upstairs if you are downstairs, could be a problem if your group is on vastly different sleep schedules.

Decor was themed nice
Things were run down in the lodge. We stayed in the same lodge 6 months ago and same things were still run down and not fixed. A blanket was screwed over the sky light and was unable to take down so the sky light was covered unable to see out of it and made the lodge very dark.
