Staying at the Marriott Mena House was a highlight of my Cairo trip. Waking up to a view of the Great Pyramid felt unreal, and the hotel’s palace-style architecture gives it real charm. The room was comfortable and clean, the gardens and pool were a peaceful escape after sightseeing, and the staff were warm and helpful throughout. Breakfast on the terrace with that view made every morning special. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Giza. I’d happily stay again.
As not all rooms have a view of the pyramids, it is worth confirming this when booking. However, staff may suggest an upgrade if one is available during check-in.

A unique location with breathtaking views of the Pyramids of Giza. Beautiful, impeccably maintained gardens, an impressive atmosphere, and a wonderful sense of history and luxury. Dining with a view of the pyramids is a truly unforgettable experience. An excellent choice for a stay in Cairo.
During our stay, a large private event with music was held in the hotel gardens, which somewhat disturbed the otherwise peaceful atmosphere.

Great location
The food was not nearly as good as was last time we stayed particularly at the India restaurant. The hotel needs a bigger and more atmospheric bar .

The proximity to the pyramids & the GEM and the feeling of calm and seclusion outside of a very busy area.
Whilst the views are great - some events during the stay do impede that view sometimes.
The hotel feels a little dated and a bit overpriced for what you get:
