Great location, very friendly staff, very good restaurant for dinner and breakfast. I had a very big, luxurious, quiet room with a big and modern bathroom.
There are some rooms in the hotel which only have frosted glass and accordingly no view whatsoever. In my case that was fine as I stayed for just one night whilst walking the South West Coast Path. If you plan a longer stay I recommend you check first with the friendly staff whether your room has a view or not.

Location excellent for access to the beach, town and seapool. Room was spacious and the bathroom was great - modern and clean . Breakfast was good quality. Service great from all of the staff.
Parking is pain due to the location. I ended up parked across two spaces at the back having reversed down the street as no turning available. Bed was a link bed so I ended up sleeping in the crack - uncomfortable. Walls and carpets in the bedroom were scuffed. Overall room was really expensive for one night and didn't represent good value.
