Clean and comfortable rooms, night time soba snacks. Friendly staff.
Would be good to be able to lower the aircon temperature as it was hot sleeping at night and windows couldn’t be opened. But this seems to be an issue for most hotels in Japan.

I liked that there was an onsen, this was a very pleasant surprise.
The bathroom felt a bit outdated and cramped for me.

The staff were a 10/10. I wish I could give ten stars just based off staff. They offer free shuttle services to the monkey park and train station and are super super kind.
Sadly unclean. We found a roach running around the 6th floor outside the elevator and a dead roach in the exterior hot bath. We were uncomfortable to sleep at night because of this.

"Location is walking distance to castle as well as the train station. The comic library, tea serving, and free tea noodle supper. Not expecting that."
