Wish we had stayed the previous 3 nights that we were in Truro, but alas we missed out on the first night as you were fully booked on the Tuesday according to booking.com and we were refunded. Ended up stay at VARA for first 3 nights which was probably one of the worst places ive stayed when away on business trips.
The shower head holder needs replacing as it doesn't hold firm.

Lovely rooms, plenty of car parking. Staff friendly polite and welcoming . Food was tasty and fresh . Breakfast was great. Only stayed one night to attend a funeral, would loved to have stayed longer if the weather had been better. Property was in an ideal location for us.

Whole room smelt of what can only be described stale urine , flush on toilet didn’t work properly , we rolled together in the middle of the bed as the mattress was so uncomfortable
Whole room needs a deep clean . Food in the bar was dire , prawn cocktail passable but old stale bread and dark green really chewy lettuce chewy steak , horrible potatoes obviously reheated from lunchtime , inedible breakfast bacon obviously cooked on steak grill just tasted of burnt fat . . Whole bar needs a really good clean . Staff were excellent friendly and on the ball
