Overall was a great experience, most of the details of the holiday was great.
If I have to say any disadvantages:
-Good meals, but not that large selection.
-Sometimes there are weddings in the hotel. It can be bothersome if someone is annoyed by loud noise at night.

Everything about this hotel is excellent. The pools and outside areas are beautiful and the beach is great with a lovely safe bay for swimming. I was working for some of the trip and the facilities were perfect. The staff ate attentive and friendly and the Head Barman mixes fantastic cocktails!
We could not find fault in anything.

Second visit to Sandy Beach. We returned because of the lovely grounds, good service and cleanliness. Rooms are a little basic but clean. Staff are friendly and polite, we have always had good service. The breakfast offering is nice. The evening entertainment is a little old fashioned but charming.
A couple of improvements would help elevate this hotel to its 4 star rating.
1. The bathrooms need refreshed, the mastic in the bathrooms have black mould and this could easily be redone.
2. The cushions on the beach sun-loungers are mouldy and some are so are wet through to the sponge. These let Sandy Bay down as loungers in adjacent hotels look so much better.
