The aesthetics of the property and the grounds is the highlight. Also liked the location, as it's quiet and a little off the beaten track, but only 10 mins away from the historic centre. They also are partnered with a tour operator which we used and had a great time (boat tour). Pool area is very nice.
The breakfast was very average and quite disappointing. Also the bar/restaurant beside the property (owned by them) is not opened on Mondays or Tuesdays. I also think "pool bar" is not a fair description in the listing. There is no pool bar. Some odd rules about not bringing food or drink to the property from outside and paying to use the sauna I found a bit strange. The rooms themselves could do with a deep clean.
