The architecture and design are superb; perfectly fit the city of Suzhou. The quality of the furniture and fittings is top grade. The buffet breakfast was very good. Apart from one or two cases, the staff were very friendly and very helpful.
Not a serious complaint but the hotel is like labyrinth. Quite difficult to find our way around and a lot of walking is involved. The dishes served at the buffet breakfast not very consistent. One morning the "beef noodle" had no beef. The coffee machines were very slow and when there were a lot of non-Chinese tourists who generally prefer coffee, there was a long wait.
