The room was really spacious and comfortable and nicely decorated. Staff were all lovely and attentive. Fabulous location, close to the rock and with that view from the pool! Good restaurants nearby, we also ate food in the bar one night.
Nothing. We had to take tuktuks to get to the restaurants after dark as our driver had told us it’s not safe to walk due to wild elephants! Safety first!

the pool was gorgeous with an amazing view of Sigiriya Rock!
the AC in the room didn't work that well but we were comfortable enough. the food was very ethnic and had a hard time eating. I did like the egg hoppers at breakfast though. the coffee was horrid:(
