I was expecting this to be a budget hotel, and everything that implies, but with the exception of the room size, the whole place has a good quality feel to it. I was a solo traveller, so the room size might be a bigger issue if you are travelling as a couple, but even then quite adequate if all you plan on doing is sleeping there. Good secure parking, albeit a bit expensive. A short walk from the centre, and a bit further from Place Stanislas than the name suggests, but not so far as to be a problem. Very good breakfast, though it did get a bit busy.
I only speak a little French, but generally find the French are appreciative if you make the effort. Somewhat an exception, the receptionist seem irritated by anything less than perfect fluency, seemingly preferring to speak English and get on with her day.

The location was nice. There was a big parking nearby. It's really tight and it was overall a good stay. The staff was friendly and we also had breakfast so everything was good.
The hotel has parking, which you need to pay for, but it's a small one. It looks like a really tight one so I wouldn't try to squeeze the bigger car in.

I love Ibis because you always know what you are going to get. Amazingly comfortable bed, good shower great breakfast and secure (cheap) parking. We often stay here as a stopover on our way south and it never disappoints. Great value for money.

The children liked the shower and the bath.
Carpark seiling too low which ended up damaging my car roof box. Had to remove the roof box, leave the hotel, and load my bags on the outside. Toilet seat too high. No Toilet rolls holder, so the roll was on the floor. No elevator from car park to reception, which can be a nightmare for a family with loads of baggage.
