Loved my room in the Sth Wing which had a balcony overlooking the courtyard garden, it was perfect for drinks with my friends

The grounds and the staff were exceptional. Location was perfect.
The room I was allocated was not the Standard Room advertised on Booking.com. The room was very inferior and felt like sleeping in a cubby house that had been put together over a weekend. My widows were painted over so I was not able to see outside. The ensuite was as bad as the room. I was shocked when I entered the room because I had paid a considerable amount for the room I thought I had booked which was shown on the images on Booking.com. If I had known the room I had booked was this room, I would have chosen one of the many other beautiful rooms in the surrounding hotels in Thamel.
