By far the nicest place I stayed in Indonesia. QUIET! Lovely gardens. Good inexpensive food. Excellent inexpensive massages. The casita was gorgeous. (Ask for one on the side, not in the middle.) Nice beach, without boats parking in front. Snorkeling just okay but it was okay, when the surf was quiet. I was happy I stayed here rather than in "downtown" Amed.
The boat trip for snorkeling was a disappointment. Hard to communicate with the assigned guy. Saw nothing of note, perhaps because of rough seas. Just not fun. I might try to book on my own by walking up and down the beach and finding the right operator rather than through hotel.

Location was perfect, sandy beach and reef just off the beach.
Everything was clean.
Plenty of safe water to drink in restaurant.
Fridge and kettle in room
A welcome pack with general information would have been helpful.
The pillows were huge like 3 pillows in one so had to sleep with the tiny decorations pillows instead.
Alot of the reef is already damaged and no effort to protect it or raise awareness that touching or walking all over it causes severe damage.

The location was super! At the beach with so much coral. The food was delicious and the people so friendly, we loved it!

Brilliant location, beachfront and coral garden all excellent. Great views from well placed restaurant. Lovely pool with shade and various depths. Lovely ornate bungalow with part open roof bathrooms and plants, good space and storage options in and around room for a multi day stay with variety of gear for different activities. Big beds & mozzie nets. Good variety and quality of breakfast and menu options.
Unhelpful customer service. Staff were pleasant and kind but more passive, disinterested and disconnected with less initiative than I have found anywhere else in Indonesia. Cleaning of rooms, pool & tables seemed minimal before arrival and throughout stay.
