I like the location of this hotel, which is close to Chunxi Road where you can easily find shuttle buses to Xiongmao Base (9.9 yuan pp), San Xing Dui Museum (25 yuan pp one way, 45 both ways), Tianfu Airport (15 yuan pp). This is very convenient.
I also like the breakfast restaurant which offers a lot of different cuisines. We could also ask for packing boxes to bring some for the rest of the day, if you kindly ask. For example, one day our kid did not have a good appetite in the morning, and we know that she would be hungry shortly, hence we asked the restaurant for a packing box to bring some bread. They are very helpful.
My kids also like the swimming pool, which is clean, good temperature, and almost nobody else uses it... with 3 lifeguards watching them playing :D
The hotel does not offer me a secure feeling, for example, taking the elevator to any floor, there is NO need to use the room key, meaning anyone could go up! The hotel held several events during our stay, e.g. some international speaker congress, several singers' offline meeting events, etc. Every day, there were soooo many people coming in and out the hotel, taking the elevators. Despite the feeling of insecure, we had to wait so much time for the elevator (even though there were like 6 of them), and had to stop one almost every floor....
The hotel itself does not look as new as in the photos (both inside and outside), not really like a 5-star one. Unfortunately we just had a stay in Chongqing's 5-star one, and could compare the two immediately. This was a fare drop in the expectation. Later, I saw Crown hotels in other cities, which are also a lot more modern than this one from the outside of the building.
The family room's bulk bed had no mattresses, not just super hard, but hyper hard.

Location was excellent, to room was spacious and clean , the concierge was exceptional
Most of the staff did not speak English so it was difficult to communicate, the restaurant although stated in internet open till 23.00 it was closed at 22.00 so we could not eat .

The staff were lovely and it was nice and central. Thank goodness the front desk spoke good English as we have no Chinese!
The room stank of cigarettes even though I’d emailed ahead to make sure it didn’t. And even with a dehumidifier in!
The pool was creepy and tired-looking. I had no conditioner in the room and needed to call for some more, they brought a hairdryer as they misunderstood.
