The location was amazing. Surrounded by amazing walks and the Loch.
Some of the hotel looked a bit run down. Some things like I had no spoon for my coffee in my room which I have sugar with. Condiments in room not refilled for the next day. Ordered a soup and bread at the bistro no knife given for butter/bread.
The shower gel ran out the morning I was leaving as well so no shower before heading off to my next location.

The location can't be beaten. They had ample free parking. The bed was very comfortable and I liked the room temperature, although may be on the cold side for some people. Got a great sleep. Bathroom clean with a very comfortable bath and lots of hot water. Reception staff were pleasant.
Unfortunately the breakfast is really grim. The dining room was freezing and there was almost no food available, nothing being topped up in the buffet. Almost funny how bad it was. The bar is only okay, really lacks atmosphere and staff were not in good form, also a lot of banging and noise as they dumped bottles and changed bins nearby. Sound insulation poor from the corridor into the bedroom. Also we heard a member of staff on reception lie to a guest about the availability of nearby nice pubs (there's one about 6 mins drive away and another about 20 mins). I imagine this is to try to get people to spend money in their substandard bar.

Very comfortable in a beautiful location.
Nothing.

I loved the location.
I didn't like the fact that this hotel is obviously not being maintained properly with no apparent interest in cleaning hallways and even lifts whose walls are grubby and in need of a good wipe down with a cloth.
The breakfast was poor with only one staff member present to try to meet all demands.
The quality of the food was poor as it was all self service from bain Marie's which led to rashers hardened up and Eggs like rubber.
