The staff were amazing as always. This would be my 3rd stay at the imperial and never had we faced any issues. The location is a bit further out from the main "surfers paradise esplanade" but thats something we had accounted for.
The place as whole is becoming run down. There is water damage all throughout the hotel, the ceilings and some of the picture frames. The cleanliness, we had a dust all over our ceilings mainly on above the TV. There was a dead cockroach on the carpet near the elevators for 3 days! Overall i feel as though the luxury feel of the place has gone down.
