Location is perfect for exploring left bank, within walking distance to all the major sights, and museums for both left and right banks. It's a small, traditional building with a tiny elevator built-in. We asked for room with a view and we got a magnificent sight of the Invalid. It's located on a small quiet street, with all the convenient shops nearby. We would stay there again.
The breakfast is just so so, but if needed for convenience then you can book a day in advance.

We absolutely loved staying at the Hotel de L'Empereur by Malone. The hotel is gorgeous & the view from our window was very special. Everything about the hotel is quaint & very Parisian. The breakfast was lovely & there were more than enough options to choose from. We walked to the Louvre & the local markets from the hotel. We would definitely stay again.

The location was good.
The elevator wasn’t working. I have cardiac issues. I carried my bag up two flights and my daughter carried it up to the fifth floor. The woman who checked us in said she’d bring it up sometime but couldn’t guarantee when which didn’t work as we had dinner reservations. It wasn’t working the next morning either. A young man carried my bag for me.
I think the facility should have offered its guests breakfast the following day for the inconvenience.
The bed was comfortable. The shower looks mouldy and the carpets look dirty
