It was a good location and right on the beach.
The private pool was tiny and ours turned green after a storm on our first day and didn’t change back the whole time so couldn’t even get in it.
The actual pool area was quite nice.
The doors/windows had gaps in them so we got bitten alive and woke up to a dead cockroach in our room.

We had a wonderful stay at Zara Beach Resort in Lamai! From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcome. Our room was clean, tidy and, most importantly, wonderfully cool when we arrived, which was a huge plus after travelling in the Thai heat.
Everything was well taken care of and the resort was a lovely place to relax. We also really appreciated that the reception could arrange a taxi for us, which made getting around so much easier and convenient.
Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend Zara Beach Resort to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing place to stay in Lamai. We would happily come back!

It was small but the restaurant was fabulous. Staff were always helpful and attentive.

The location
Very dirty room. Terrible bathroom. Cockroaches in the bad. Everythings smell. Hygienic zero. We booked for 7 days but after 4 night we check out.
