The hotel needed a bit of tlc. But it's clean. Breakfast was good. Staff friendly. Opposite the harbour and close to shops. Everything within walking distance

Room 205 was nice and provided good view of the harbour.
Being at the front of the hotel allowed the noise and music from nearby restaurants, until 3-4am is major problem for an overnight stay if wishing to gain sleep

Worth knowing that the music from downstairs causes the whole building to vibrate. Music stops at 11pm but you won’t want to be in the room in the evening before then.

The views where the bestvthing about staying here!
The room needed an update, it was very dated, the bed base was falling apart, the lampshade was split, it only had a normal double bed, so felt very cramped. The bathroom had a very high bath that for the more mature person was very hard to get in and out off and again very dated, the bath panel was broken, the bath and sink were both pitted. Our room was not cleaned all week, there is a notice in the room saying the room will be cleaned every two days, it was not so I asked for our room to be cleaned on the thrid day, it was not, on the forth day after complaing again, the bed was made (no clean sheets) clean towels, the bin was emptied, and more tea bags and milk left, the room was not touched again while we were there!! The only good thing about our stay was Michael the member of staff who was always there.
