Lovely hotel with great free parking facility. The young male receptionist at check in on Sunday evening was particularly helpful, mannerly and professional. Plenty of areas in lobby with seating to relax and nice atmosphere.
The fire alarm went off between 5.30/6am and we had to vacate our rooms. This is completely understandable and nobody’s fault but we were given no explanation as the staff panicked to stop it from going off. We were told to go back to our rooms with the alarm still going which was bizarre, surely fire drills are carried out and this certainly would not be good advice. At check out I got no mention or apology or free breakfast.
