Great room for the price and breakfast included, room was great . Evening bar staff were very friendly and helpful
Checking in staff were quite rude, very little acknowledgement and very direct regarding not being able to order food

The views the room was nice came to celebrate my friends 40th birthday breakfast was nice lots of choice
The only thing was no kitchen staff in the evening so couldn’t get a bar snack at tea time had to travel to the nearest shop about 10 minutes drive to get some sandwiches etc if we had known we would of brought our own it’s just a good job we came in my daughters car and not on the train just it stated bar snacks were available until 8.30 but when we got downstairs to bar area was told there was no kitchen staff

Breakfast was a good solid English breakfast, with selection of cereals,. toast, yoghurt and fuit juice, really quite good.
Decent selection of drinks to be made in the room.
Large spacious car park with a decent number of EV chargers
Great view over huddersfield and halifax
Very well situated for easy access to the M62
It's cheap, and you certainly get what you pay for here.
Room was in poor condition, window leaked the cold windy air and rain quite a bit, bath was suitable only for the slimest of people, the tap mixing for the shower was extreemly fiddly to get it any where near useable. Overall upkeep of the room was poor.
They are really running with a skeleton crew, the stress of over work/too many tasks to do very obvious and verbally comminucated by quite unmotivated and disgrunteled staff.
