Large, comfortable, well-equipped room, wonderfully helpful and friendly staff (Laurie and Paul were superb examples but all staff we met were lovely) great food, lovely surroundings, free car park.
An extra easy chair in the room would have been nice. In the lounge area it would be helpful for anyone with mobility issues to have a higher, more upright easy chair.

It's a perfect traditionnal English Hostel with all we imagine for an old victorian house. Nice reception, place to read and spend a marvellous tea time.
toilets are not up to date. But it is often like this in UK.
