Staff very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Bed very comfy. Evening meal very good and breakfast excellent - plenty of choice.
Wish there had been a walk-in shower instead of a bath.

The rooms were quite spacious, but unfortunately, they were not properly insulated against the cold. The windows were not double-glazed, and considering the size of the rooms, there was only one radiator, which was not powerful enough to heat the room adequately.
We had two separate reservations. In one room, we were given a portable electric heater to help keep the room warm. In the other room, the heating was not working at all.
The hotel staff were very friendly and did their best to resolve the issue. They offered us another room, but unfortunately, the heating in that room did not work either. Eventually, we were given a different room where the heating worked, along with a portable electric heater.
Although we really appreciated the staff's kindness and efforts to help us, the whole process was frustrating and time consuming. As you can imagine, we lost a considerable amount of time trying to resolve these issues instead of relaxing and enjoying our stay. Unfortunately, this had a negative impact on our overall experience at the hotel.
