The outdoor area with the beach, bar, the little village feeling, the ambience… it was wonderful. The beach is amazing, transparent and calm. Warm even in october. There was also a wedding so it added to the experience. They have an in house doctor which was helpful when our baby was sick.
Our room was quite old, and also a bit warm/humid. They did upgrade us which was super nice but still we were in the older part.

We liked the beaches, the breakfast, the boat hire facilities, the spa and the rooms.
Not providing water with dinner.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming.. the facilities were excellent and just an all round great experience. Shout out to the lovely lady who looked after our tables at breakfast.. she was so friendly and helpful.. didn’t get her name but I’m sure she’s well known for her great personality!

We had a very pleasant stay at Elounda Bay. Our suite was comfortable and spacious, with a large bathroom and a beautiful view over the sea. The overall atmosphere is calm and relaxing, which we really appreciated. The hotel seems to attract mostly couples and older guests, so it is peaceful rather than a place for loud or party-focused crowds.
There are plenty of facilities, including tennis, padel and a gym. You can also walk into the centre of Elounda, and we enjoyed walking through the grounds to the neighbouring sister hotel as well, which is the more luxurious of the two properties.
The only downside for us was the price. We felt it was quite steep considering we were staying on the Bay side, which is the less luxurious of the two hotels. We still paid a substantial amount, so in that respect the value for money could have been a little better.
Overall though, we had a lovely and very relaxing stay.
