Bed was comfy and it was spotlessly clean
Poor sound insulation, one slider door that you had to either slide towards the toilet or the shower. There were no blackout blinds. There were nets and a curtain with two panels that didn't close. Apparently there were external shutters but they didn't bother to tell you at reception. European travellers might know to look but I didn't!
The area is very sketchy. Lots of dodgy people follow you out of the hauptbahnof and there are unfortunately many drug addicts who are in doorways surrounding the hotel. I did not feel safe in the area.

The room was clean, the staff were helpful, the breakfast was good. It was near to the train station. Plenty of places to get food and drinks
The surrounding area was not the best place to be alone at night

The hotel clerks are nice, we were able to store our bikes safely. The immigrant-heavy neighborhood is interesting, with many different restaurants to choose from.
Our room is quite small, with no AC, no fridge, and only one chair. The BK buffet is expensive, so we skipped it.

Room small and old . Bed small. Door hard to close. No hand towels. Near drug dealers.
