It was very central to town. We were able to walk everywhere.

The location was great, easy to get around and close to everything central with lots of good buses. The reception staff were super lovely and helpful and let us leave luggage as we had an evening flight. Having a kitchenette was very handy with bowls/plates/cutlery, kettle, a hob, microwave, toaster and good sized fridge (small freezer section if wanted), the shower had good pressure, it was a little cold one day (possibly after a rush of people showering!) but generally nice and hot. The bed was comfy.
I’m not sure how hot it would get in summer, there were heaters but no air con (we just had the windows open, fine for winter/spring). We didn’t mind it but the room felt a little tired. We only had two bread knives and no kitchen knives - cutting carrots was interesting 😅
