This small hotel is an absolute gem. The staff were friendly as well as professional. We were made so welcome by Kerry on arrival and Magda served our dinners with a smile. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Our room was clean and comfortable, the only negative being a smaller TV than we expected. The location is excellent. There was a little road noise, but not enough to bother us. And buses picked us up and dropped us off just outside. Numbers 30 and 31 linked us with Havant bus station. We left our car free of charge in the hotel car park and travelled around by bus, also enjoying a trip over to Ryde on the hovercraft. We will definitely return to Newton House and will feel like we are returning to see friends! Lelo & Barry.
A bigger TV in the room would have been nice.

It was a really lovely hotel. All the staff were so friendly & we felt comfortable straight away. The room was very nice with en-suite walk in shower. Two lovely dining rooms & the food was really good. Great little bar with plenty of seating. Big car park so no problem with any parking issues. Entertainment was excellent.
Can’t think of anything.

Room was very nice. Food and service in restaurant very good
Unfortunately, we picked the night when there was a celebration going on in the events room. We were in an accessible room as my husband has Alzheimer's and has a walking problem, and we were about 3 mins from the events room which was extremely noisy and didn't finish until 12.30, so did not get to sleep until then. I did go to front desk and complained, but all they could do was apologise. Didn't really help much, and my husband was getting quite agitated because he couldn't get to sleep.
