Lovely place,, ample car parking. Staff were great. Food was very nice - I had an evening meal which was served by Helen, who was very polite and personable. We then had breakfast which was tasty. The room I had was ok, everything that you need really. Good location for the rail station and for exploring the Edge. Good range of local shops as well. Smashing roaring real fire.
Nothing stands out as major at all. I would suggest proper cut chips, which would add some authenticity I think.

Location couldn’t be better, a five minute walk to my parents house
Was able to order the child’s breakfast which I appreciated instead of a big blowout, but only made it to breakfast once because the hours was 7 AM to 9 AM, too early for me!
Would’ve been nice if there was a little fridge in the room, apart from that didn’t need anything else

The bar and restaurant area are lovely with real log fires, comfy seats and the staff were great. Good location
The rooms are extremely tired, damp patches, very old bathroom and from our room on the top floor all we could hear all night were pigeons in the attic
