The Grand Blue Sky International - All Inclusive

I don’t understand why other tourists gave this property a low rating. Yes, the hotel isn’t new, but the service was excellent. As for cleanliness—hats off! The housekeeper on our floor—Block C, 5th floor—named Deria, was fantastic. The room was kept very clean; bed linens were changed every two days, and towels were replaced daily. The only day she had off, however, the service was absolutely abysmal—her replacement forgot to leave us enough towels and toilet paper!!!! The one thing that urgently needs replacing is the bathroom floor tiling. Also, the plumbing should be checked; in our bathroom, there was likely a leak somewhere, as water was seeping up from between the tiles. Otherwise, I have nothing but praise. I would definitely return to this place!

All inclusive service is quite good. Food is delicious, both in the main restaurant and in the Blue Fish a la carte restaurant. The territory is rather green and nice. Sunset views from the room balcony are unforgettable. The location is good. There is a local public bus No. 5 stopping in front of the hotel and going to the city centre, which is not far.

Cocktails are very good in the cocktail bar, but very bad in the main bar. The beach allegedly has a blue flag, but it is actually not quite clean. The pool is without heating, so the water was cold in the end of September and we swam in the sea, which was perfectly clean and great.

The food was good, not a lot of variety but what they did have was tasty, fresh and well cooked. Drinks were fine, branded soft drinks and efes beer. Cocktails at the umbrella bar were nice but they weren't very good in the lobby bar. Wine wasn't nice either. The cleaners did a good job in the rooms and the restaurant and pool areas were clean. Some staff were very lovely and helpful particularly reception staff, cleaners and the older restaurant staff. The grounds are stunning and the beach is lovely (Although it's 130 steps to get down to it!). The dolmus passes right outside the hotel and taxis are around 350TL into town.

It is incredibly tired. The pool desperately needs work on it. There are broken tiles, sunbeds and parasols at the pool and beach. The bathroom although clean looks grotty and there was a punch hole in our bathroom door... Some staff, particularly round the pool and in the lobby and restaurant bars are miserable, rude and disinterested. Some days they would start blasting ear rattling music round the pool and at the beach from 3pm making relaxing impossible-they should pick one place only to do this so people can relax elsewhere.
