Rooms were very clean, fresh and cosy. Breakfast was just beautiful. Grounds are stunning š
The only thing that let the stay down was the beds in rooms 17/18. The springs were gone, and the bed was full of lumps. Because the bed was on laminate, it also moved quite a bit and was very noisy. Didn't get much sleep because of this. I was quite disappointed how small room 17 is compared to room 18, considering we paid the same amount for both rooms. Room 18 was much superior, including the bathroom compared to room 17. I do feel room 17 shouldn't be charged the same rate.

Spacious garden terrace room was comfortable.
Breakfast was very good. We appreciated ordering from a menu and being served rather than a buffet. Quality of food and service were good.
The bar and lounge were comfortable and not too busy.
I made enquiries about the bar menu and dining options for our second night by eMail and telephone several days before arrival. I didn't get a response to either, so in the end I made arrangements to dine elsewhere. I did mention this on check-in but there was no acknowledgement.

Warm .comfortable, pleasant staff, nice grounds & plenty of parking.
Excellent breakfast.
Choices on the Evening menu in restaurant were restrictive. Tv in our room was past its best.

Room was ok. Pleasant outlook.
Nice to have a power shower which lived up to his name. š
Failure to deliver breakfast ordered the night before.
Although staff were aware I wouldn't be receiving, failed to inform me. Bit poor tbh.
