This is a beautiful hotel with beautiful food, fantastic drinks especially cocktails and excellent staff. The hotel also take care of your parking. My wife and I love visiting the angel hotel during our visits to Bury st Edmunds.
There's nothing you can't like about this place.

The restaurant, bar and lounge were always buzzing. The Angel seems to be the heartbeat of Bury St Edmunds which is itself a lovely historic town. Staff very helpful and welcoming.

Brilliantly situated in town, opposite abbey gardens, lovely bar and restaurant, good close private car park
Nothing to dislike.

Great staff and venue as always.
We have stayed in lovely rooms at this hotel but this time we’re put in room 8, in a separate courtyard to the hotel and next to a road. The room was small with dismal lighting not helped by bad weather outside. Noisy at night when cars and people passed our window
