A classic English inn with beautiful grounds and comfortable rooms. We chose it for a two-night stay to explore the Cotswolds. We absolutely loved the dinners—there was a great selection of food and drinks, and everything was served quickly and beautifully. There is a large parking lot. And, of course, the surrounding countryside with its fields and roaming cows is wonderful. By the way, just a 5-minute walk from the hotel, near the surgery center building, you can even spot some fluffy Highland cows! The staff were very tactful. Overall, it has a wonderful, authentic English inn atmosphere
The Wi-Fi in the annex (the adjacent building, not the main one) needs to be faster. It is quite slow over there

Parking was excellent. Beds and pillows were super. Staff were very friendly.The room was clean. Great views from the dining room.
The shower had mould on tiles. The cushions and throw as not washed in between clients. The room was shabby and not vibrant like the photo. There were big cracks in the plaster and it was peeling off on the ceiling. The furniture, valance, blinds and curtains in wardrobe were yonks old and shabby. No lattes served at breakfast. The avocado was black and looked old. The baked beans were dried up and again looked like they were leftovers. The coffee at breakfast was not nice and had to keep asking for more coffee and more milk. The bread at breakfast was boring. No fridge in the room. The shower water and the hairdryer were cool. The room was designed for tall people and I could not reach into the safe or see in the wall mounted magnifying mirror. It was not easy getting the luggage from the car to the room up a very narrow steep staircase plus a long walk and through a very stiff door.
