I loved the location and all the staff that I met with were great! Due to traffic and onset of a storm I was late (nearly 2300) checking in, the member of staff was waiting for me at the door (they lock the door at night). I only stayed for the 1 night but the location was beautiful, bed was comfy, towels soft and water temperature was perfect. Absolute gem of a place to stay.
I couldnt for the life of me figure out how to open the window, most likely operator error and I was too tired to really figure it out. The room was quite toasty overnight but great night but great to wake up warm with the chil in the air.

Didn't have breakfast, but did have an evening meal. Service was fantastic and the food delicious. Good value for money

Comfortable room, comfortable bed, good bathroom.
Nice cooked breakfast.
Glad to find a nice 'local' hotel to stay in after the RAC let us down. Friendly staff.
Traffic noise
'Continental' breakfast wasn't as described - no croissants, fresh fruit or natural yogurt. Poor coffee.

Location is good, bed was comfortable, very good value. Can't comment on food as didn't eat at Trehellas. For us, it was a quick stop off. Coffee/tea facilities in room were handy. Served it's purpose perfectly!
It could do with a deep clean, fair few dead flies on surfaces and in light fittings, and a bit of dust. Only one of the sconces was functioning, but not worth troubling staff with for a quick stay. Only one pillow each, but the next morning did see two more in the wardrobe. It's an older building, so naturally is a bit colder. Walls/floor/ceiling are very very thin, so noise really travels. We stayed in the outbuilding, could hear other occupants very clearly - so much so could hear them going to the bathroom. As a result we ended up whispering in the room in attempts not to disturb them. Earplugs are a good solution and just an awareness that privacy may be limited when using bathroom/talking.
