We didn´t get eh sea view room. but the room was big and the mattress was big.
The shower is small and with curtains that do not close all the way. The room had a bit of a old smell, probably from the ocean.
The bed although big was pending on one side and made my back hurt
The ocean we see is not suitable for swimming, which menas you have to walk around 15 miunutes to get to the beach.

This Riad is very well located near the shops and restaurants. Room was lovely and stylishly appointed. There was plenty of choice for breakfast. Our room had limited views as was facing rearwards. A sea view would have been nice but as the wind seemed to be constantly ferocious, I'm not sure if it would have been possible to have a window open. The Riad overlooks the beach, however the beach itself is not great, having its fair share of plastic detritus. The roof terrace is nice but very windy. Essaouira is much cooler than Marrakesh, due to the constant onshore wind.
TVs in the bedrooms seemed a good idea. However the only channels available were German language shopping channels. The reception staff confirmed that this was all that was available. So utterly pointless, not that we wanted to watch much. But an hour or so to catch up with the news may have been welcome.

The view from the room window was spectacular.
The roof terrace was great.
The room was very small, the toilet was old and smelly. The shower did not drain. The whole room needs a paint job and brightening up.
The immediate area outside the hotel was filthy.
