Location was near train station and close to main shopping area.
Bar lounge area in foyer needs an update.

The room was quiet. It was close to almost everything
Firstly we were put into room 506. The shower space was extremely small, only a child or very small adult would fit comfortably into. We asked to be changed and were accommodated, it seemed a little reluctantly by the receptionist. The second room, 503, was much better with a half decent shower.
The whole hotel is a little dated. The beds were very firm and not so comfortable.

Location was what we needed, nice clean hotel
We asked for a cold glass of wine and got lukewarm wine in a half flute glass which we waited about 20mins for as they said the bar was shut but it was open. A slightly odd experience

It is a convenient location close to Messina Port. 24 hour front desk for late ferry arrivals or departures. Staff were nice. Close to the shopping district of Messina and to cafes in the morning.
The rooms are very dated and the walls are very thin. Pillows and beds could use a refresh.
