The hotel is located in a quiet area which is close to Central and generally well connected. Staff are very helpful and kind, and the shuttle bus which goes to Hong Kong station is free and a big help if you're travelling into Hong Kong from abroad.

Chose room with separate lounge as previously enjoyed this accomodation. Views particularly at night spectacular. Staff very helpful. Breakfast excellent choice and service.
Taxis do not appear to wish to cross the traffic when dropping you off. This can mean a hair raising dash across the busy road. Some taxis will do a u turn in a property further up the road and then either turn into Bishop Lei or drop you on the road outside.

We opted for Bishop Lei as the price was on our budget. We knew what to expect- the small rooms, the slightly older facilities, the uphill location. But at check in, the reception team upgraded our basic to a room with an anteroom and that made all the difference to our stay and this review is based on that experience. We appreciated the hourly shuttle down to Central, the close proximity to all the dining experiences and the midlevels elevator, and the attentive staff.
A caveat for future guests is the uphill location- it is a lot of walking up or downhill, depending where you are going. So if you are mobility challenged- this might not be the best spot. I am not sure it is clear on description just how uphill the location is. But then again, you can always bus or taxi.
