Gorgeous hotel, easy parking, the staff were all exceptional to us. My wife’s birthday and they treated us to a room upgrade and most important, we are vegan and the chef prepared two different 3 course meals for us on both nights that were superb.
Nothing, everything was superb.

The hotel is beautifully renovated. Bedroom was lovely if a bit small, shower over bath very slippy to get out, a grab handle would help. Air con was not working properly. Lovely views over the valley
The restaurant provides an excellent breakfast but our evening meal was very disappointing. We spoke about this to the proprietors but they told us that there had been no other complaints. Rather a shame as it was a birthday celebration.

Honestly, I thought this place might be a bit stuffy and overpriced. It was neither. Instead, it was one of our favorite stops on our trip and worth every penny. The staff were incredibly kind and gracious and the room very comfortable. But we also loved the beautiful common areas where we spent a rainy afternoon just enjoying the space reading and journaling. We also had one of our best meals of the trip at the restaurant so we we would definitely recommend having dinner there as well.

Breakfast was very good, Parking, while nearby, was difficult to access
Bathroom facilities were not user friendly. Nowhere to hook the shower head and difficult to access bath for older guests. The room door was difficult to lock and unlock. Everybody knew that this applied to our room...why not fix the lock?
