Bed linen was great quality, as were the shampoo, body wash and hair conditioner provided. The building is gorgeous and beautifully developed. The location was good too: fairly central but quiet. Reception staff were very professional.
From the photos on the booking.com website, I was expecting a minibar. On arrival, there was nothing, apart from basic coffee and tea facilities, with two teeny 10ml containers of milk. Even that was not replenished by room service on day 2. The fridge was bare. On further investigation, it was apparent that you could ask for the minibar to be stocked, but items would, of course, be chargeable. The hospitality offer was basic and certainly not as generous or imaginative as the photos on the booking.com website would indicate. Overall, the five stars are not merited in my view.

The property was very charming and interesting with its history the room was good and the receptionist called Thomas was very nice and helpful
We had breakfast with our little dog and it totally ruined our stay a guy call Frederic who must have been in charge made us feel totally unwanted , and literally dumped us in the bar area, now I went to get hot food and a lot of it was either empty or run out I asked if there was more coming and was told by a girl that it was being prepared, now this Frederick was eating in the kitchen , how can this happen when you have paying customers waiting for food and he is in there eating , to me this is very unprofessional and maybe a review of this person should happen , I would like some feedback from management before I send my complaint to Marriott
